Iron awake

"Iron awake" is a kind of English translation for "Desperta ferro", the battle cry of the almogavars, infantry troops from the Crown of Aragon during the Middle Ages that became mercenaries. This song talks about the Catalan Company of the East, an army of almogavars founded by former Knight Templar Rutger von Blum in 1302, and hired by the Byzantine emperor Andronicus II Palaeologus to fight Ottoman Empire.
